From left to right we have Polis beach, a village house and bottom the village square viewed from Savvas taverna. There is a new fountain in the village square, it has been under construction for about 3 years, on our last visit in May 2002 it was nearly completed. So what's the rush.!. After my return this October (2003) I will inform visitor's regarding completion of this project.!. With a photograph. Check Chix Chox in the village square, note the new fountain. Yes finished.!!! but not with water on tap. May be 2005. On my return in May 2005 and Oct 2005 there may be water.? No not yet.! I have heard that there were no filters fitted, so the local authorities decided that in case some child drank the water that may harm them. The fountain stays turned off.!!!!
