This is a Caravan Club site, but it is for the serious caravanner. There are no facilities, just the site office. The nearest food store is around 20 miles away at Lairg. I have stayed here, but it is very remote. If you want a meal out or a quiet drink you are looking at a long drive on a narrow road with passing places. The road you are looking at is not a site road, it is the main road and I am standing at the side of it to take this photo. (Photo taken in 1996. not recently) The peace and quiet you can cut with a knife it is so striking. The silence is deafening. WONDERFUL.!!! |
