My Swift Danette owned 1988 until 1994. This van had an end bedroom that could be shut off, way ahead of its time. I went to a Motorhome from it, otherwise I think I would still have had it.
This was a Nissan pick up and dismountable caravan body. Photographed on the Isle of Skye. Dates I cannot remember. The insurance was crazy priced. I am sure that the Companies were worried that it would fall of the truck, so doubled it in 12 months. I know I only ran it for the year. It was well bolted to the truck in four places and was a brilliant idea. "in the USA no problems as they are accepted" |
