This morning I woke up and checked all the TV news programmes to see if sanity had returned to our sad planet.! But no.! the United Nations once again wants the Arab nations to give way to Israel. The fighting stops with immediate effect, and Israel stays inside this raped country of Lebanon. The excuse to is prevent more rocket attacks against ISRAEL. It seems to me that Lebanon must trust Israel, but Israel does not trust Lebanon. As I see it, Israel has ignored scores of United Nations resolutions against them, AND IT WANTS LEBANON TO TRUST THEM.!!!! The United Nations has a flawed constitution. One leading partner can veto the rest, so democracy fails. They should have a two thirds majority ruling so that a true and fair result is possible. As to the USA they seem to have a very selective idea as to what constitutes a terrorist organisation. They had public Irish rallies to collect funds for the IRA so that attacks could be made against the British. I don't know for sure, but I would not be surprised if the Jewish community in the USA hold rallies collecting funds to promote Israeli's terrorist government. Talking must start, but on a level playing field. What ever Israel thinks it must search its soul and accept that there is immense fault in their actions. Accept these faults and show the world that they are genuine in wanting a peaceful life. Killing and maiming 1,000s of innocents and destroying a countries infrastructure because two soldiers have been kidnapped is extreme and not the actions of a civilised state.!!! They are simply pouring hatred on top of hatred against themselves. I have gone from respecting them as a strong nation to detesting them as a nation of criminals. They are very like Nazi Germany of the mid 1930's in their treatment of the Palestinians who's country they have stolen. The Nazi's treatment of the German Jews was a crime of immense proportions. The Israeli's treatment of its Palestinian population is a crime of immense proportions. And it grows by the day.!!!!! |
